Enterprise is for back-office applications, customer-facing portals, internal tools, and marketing surfaces. It serves a broader audience than C3 — people who may use the product occasionally, intensively, or somewhere in between.
Design principles
Whitespace as structure
Enterprise products lean into generous padding and clear visual hierarchy. A user new to the product should immediately understand what to look at.
Calm over loud
Accents are restrained. Status colours appear when warranted, not as decoration. The system trusts the user to scan, not to stress-read.
Light mode first
Most Enterprise users work in normal lighting. Light mode is the primary surface; dark mode is the alternate.
Forms and data tables matter most
Forms and tables carry most of the weight in Enterprise products, so PRIZM Enterprise tunes those components with extra care.
Approachable to first-time users
Tooltips, helper text, and empty states are first-class concerns — they help people who are new to the product feel oriented, not lost.
When to use Enterprise vs C3
Choose Enterprise when the product serves a wide audience under normal working conditions. Choose C3 when the product is operated by trained users in sustained monitoring sessions.
